There's also the fact that Capcom has removed Intended Friction, thinking that they're doing QoL. Simple rituals like forcing the player to tag the target monster with a paintball to make the auto-seikret work or making them pick up supply items from the tent, or limiting inventory space to force you to rely on the Endemic Life in some capacity would do wonders for bringing back the "monhun feeling" people say is missing.

But normal pierce fares better thanks to the huge hitbox and varied ele weakness.Gaism is very weak to dragon which makes him easy to deal with sub 3 minutes with good spare shot luck.Seregios isn't quite as hard as the wilds version but still extremely aggressive and his legs are too think for pierce ammo even if his ele weakness is solid.Anyway, these are some sunbreak examples of annoying mon even though you didn't ask.With HBG, it's not about "what monster hits harder" because they all hit equally hard. It becomes a matter of their kit.If they're immobile and fat? Easy pickings. Slim and fast? GG go next.Some monsters just aren't solo gunnable. In this sense, HBG is more fit to be a squad support like HH, despite its *theoretically* high damage.

And cannot be used at all against multi hit attacks.Neither of the follow ups has any iframes or hyperarmor.Also, the movement silkbind cannot be used for dodging or defense. It is purely for positioning.It's slow, comes out slow, has a short range, and has absolutely ZERO iframes.Also, if you want to use it, you have to skill swap every time you want to, or whenever you need to use setting sun which should be always. It's a no win scenario.And no, this isn't elden ring, you can't swap into glide into swap into setting while the monster winds up its attack.You have absolutely no fucking idea what you're talking about.It's like you went into the hbg menu, looked at switch skills and though, oh yeah this does this, without ever using them for yourself.The ONLY thing swap scroll is good for evasion wise is Redirection, but any weapon can make that op but it has a shorter iframe window than basic roll and also always throws you back which is often out of crit range.Also, any lategame hbg build cannot use swap scroll without losing basically every damage buff.
