I just repotted my houseplant and let me tell you those roots were compact! I had to enlist the help of my roommate to hold the old plastic pot at a 90 degree angle as I firmly grab the plant and rocked it back and fourth until it was dislodged. I also bought way to much potting soil, if I change the soil every 6 months I bet it would take me at minimum 7 or 8 years to go through the bag. I am currently keeping the soil bag in the broom closet. The plant is looking good in its new bigger clay pot, I wonder why toriel doesn't take up gardening undertale/deltarune.

Now here's where shit gets weird.In the far future when super science and magic are a thing a daughter clone with a magic pendant is sent back into the modern age to steal a shard of the Big Bad Evil From Space that is incredibly magical and powerful. A super computer controls the world via mind control using the in game save points themself and needs a vessel that meets the requirement of a prophecy which sounds familiar for some reason. So this clone kid saves the Main Character, who is FATED to get the shard of magic and awesome, and accidentally the entire dimensional timeline in half which fucks everything right up and the entire game is based around subtle differences between the world where main character is Alive or Dead like Schrodinger's Cat using the magic amulet clone kid has. Now here's where shit gets Even WeirderThe Super Computer manipulates the Main Character's Dad into killing the child in the first place, which is what the clone daughter is sent back to prevent. Chrono Cross's plot fucking sucks because of how it shits on fans of the original. They even made it worse with how in the ds version they make a fucking JOKE character fuck up tons of stuff for chrono cross! The only reason why there’s slightly goodish writing in 1 is because Alvis has made Shulk his driver (which is a total retcon). But that game is still a broken mess of a story and world from start to finish.It’s quite amazing the xenoblade devs could make anything like the driver-and-blade system of 2, toss it all to the garbage despite actually being the most natural power system that doesn’t require the most contrived circumstances possible to wield the most powerful blades in canon (Lera and Jin). All for more generic over-designed JRPG slop. And it makes me so angry in 3 because literally every ouroboros pairing is meant to be a couple in the game, with the half of them being blade-things.Seriously, xenoblade 1 gives you a cool sword because Alvis is the blade. 2 gives the global people their own blades with their own unique abilities to expand everything Shulk and Rex do. And then 3 goes “set it on fire”.It’s the master sword all over again. Where the most iconic feature/tool/feature the devs ever make of their series gets tossed away for a bunch of random junk.
