I like timers for certain things because that adds an element of realism and immersion, but I dislike timers for the whole game because I like to explore and be completionist and do every side quest.bg3 had some time sensitive quests and they were mostly fine because it was really just "do this before resting or entering a new area", it wasn't "you have X minutes". Kingmaker and Wrath had a few timed quests and kingdom management elements, and for the most part they were lenient enough to not be a bother.Trader only had one part if memory serves, returning to Dargonus before the drukhari attack, which was easy because you just don't do side quests for that one plot note then you get back to it. So these were all fine.

And on top of that, she's a single point of failure for the entire von Valancius protectorate (because you don't have an heir yourself and Voitgir is in no position to inherit), should the RT's flagship get stranded in a system or lost to the warp, so the idea of any kind of distraction which could cause her to break concentration when navigating is madness. Strictly speaking it's incredibly reckless that she ever leaves the ship at all, let alone joining your party and stepping into the line of fire against Chaos space marines and Dark Eldar warriors. But making her a party member in combat is a plot compromise made for gameplay purposes so I think it's perfectly reasonable to ignore it.

I thought I wanted another pathfinder game from Owlcat but I realized if they did it would have to be 2e which is super pozzed. Will just have to keep replaying WOTR I guess.
