You only pull out your melee to (very rarely) block and push. It also lets you move at light speed, which can be very important.Knife still has the weakness of not stunning mutants/ragers or killing armor fast like the dueling sword does, not having force block like the swords do, and in general having pretty mediocre damage. You gain the ability to slide at knife speed while swapping over to your staff.I don't play psyker much in havoc, but I've also been contemplating using the shock maul for stripping void shields, since psyker basically doesn't melee in havoc. Dueling sword is probably still better, if for no other reason than stunning mutants out of a charge for an easy kill, because those fuckers can be run-ending.

Got the retarded brain burst a boss solo, and wound one like that. The zealot run was kind of fun, desu. We just speedran an auric with fotf as fast as possible. It should be ultra easy now with the train now, since that one is just five minutes tops. There is special setup needed, just kill yourself as early as possible to trigger your invincibility, and then once it heals back to cap then you are at the perfect sweet spot to do the rest of the mission.
