Dante transitioned from being a fixer to a politician inside the nest and became either the head of the wing or a high ranking member of it, over time splits would form and factionalism would produce two new sides which are the black and white guelphs. he ends up getting betrayed and loses everything leading to exile. Current Dante doesn't look like he used to be fixer material however i think a possible explanation might be he lost his body somewhere on the way literally becoming exiled from himself. "aspect" is a relationship between two planets, perhaps "engraving your aspect" might be engraving either a possible you or past you onto your current self.
