I love counters on chain battles. Mon dieu what a fun and interactive game element that rewards planning and using game mechanics like offset. My mistake, I forgot you can't offset those. I suggest we can just avoid counter coins. That route is very manageable on unfocused encounters. We just need to strategize going around counters and avoid immediately killing enemies so our skill slots don't overlap with the counters we avoided. A brilliant mind clearly designed this rewarding game mechanic and we must approach it with the same tact in kind.
