One is 701 and the other 710. You don’t just instantly jump on the 710, you need to look at the stats and what’s needed for your role and build. If the 701 is tier set but the 710 isn’t, generally you would take the tier. Or if the 710 isn’t Crit and Verse but you need Haste and Mastery, take the 701. As long as you’re in the range of the proper ilvl that’s all that really matters, ilvl itself isn’t everything.

Hit 2k on my arcane mage today, obnoxious that they're going to nerf a spec nobody plays.....Feels like this season was feeling pretty good, but I'm doing much better on my arms warrior. Position on the ladder is what actually matters, and being around rank 70 on my warrior is past duelist. Duelist on Arcane mage is what 2400 cutoff is for arms warrior. Underplayed spec to be nerfed in order to appease R1 guys with tons of addons and trackers and weak auras. obviously not an arena guy and dont play it enough. But in BG blitz, destro locks seem just as strong as arcane mages, and MM hunters and boomkins just rule the roost, and there is not even talks about nerfing them, not getting into ret players....
