It was really bad in antorus when there was people trying to do a 2bdk 18aff warlock mythic clear because healers were so useless (please note they were the strongest they have ever been until DF). Homogenization is the word thats used negatively and jak skirts around it but yes we do need to homogenize dps defensive toolkits to some extent.

Also I don't even use addons to know when a damage spike will happen because fights are on a timeline typically so you kinda know how things go down before you step foot in it.
