if you do essence drain contagion unearth, later on you can get blackflame covenant + blasphemy with despair (chaos resistance debuff aura). Then use eldritch battery + lich ascendancy unholy power. With all the chaos damage nodes, you can pump just with the regular chaos spells but then fire rounds out your single target. 3-6 button builds yes but very fun and flexible without the need for ordering around skeletons

after preliminary testing some specters from act 4 I think my favorite are Faithful Archers with Ricochet III for infinite pierce. Not as good single target as powered zealots but they're comfier for mapping since they will attack enemies the moment they're on screen and pierce everything
