I have come up with a somewhat schizo theory. I think part of the story regarding Fecto is fake and is actually revisionist history driven by cope, and he had a way bigger impact to the world and story than what is apparent.From the figure description about the meteors it is now known that what we see in the game is the only remaining habitable land in the planet, and the rest somehow sunk.What I think happened: Fecto actually managed to wreck most of the planet, probably both by arriving in a meteor with a massive crash and then personally attacked and razed the rest. The fake part of the story is that Fecto was defeated and contained and then Elfilin was created later. Actually Fecto was in course to destroy all life until Elfilin somehow grew powerful enough to separate on his own, which left him in a weakened state which is how his capture was possible. The fake story was created to cope with the fact most of life on the planet has been killed off with no way to recover since the land itself has also disappeared, and a way to control the narrative was needed. It's confirmed that Wondaria was created as a huge cope-fest propaganda machine so we know this civilization is willing to lie to itself. Also the reason why the planet was abandoned was not because they figured they would just find something better just by leaving, but because Fecto's attack destroyed the economy and food production, and they were going to go nearly extinct and regress to the stone ages if they didn't leave.

Both Elfilis brothers are somewhat alive, with part of Fecto's essence surviving inside Elfilin, and Genwel just being sealed, so maybe we will see more of their story and motivations at some point. As for why the planet is so important that it is worth invading twice, even after it got mostly emptied, maybe there is some sort of secret hidden within it that we haven't seen yet, and what the brothers were truly after.

I strongly believe the people of the New World were content not knowing their origins until Neichel sang her song. This lit a fire in the inhabitants of the planet to begin to research space travel, inspired by the lyrics to see these stars for themselves. Maybe it wasn't about abandoning their world at first until Elfilis attacked. After that they understood they couldn't live on their home planet anymore and decided to leave it, with Wondaria convincing anyone with second thoughts to journey with them. Elfilin is Reason and Forgo is Emotion, meaning that Elfilin may have gained his emotional side back after Kirby defeated Chaos Elfilis.

He discarded his beloved Cook for Ultra Sword as Kirby's Final Smash in Smash Bros, and they form Kirby's super move options in Air Riders as well. It's safe to say he's a fan.I very much appreciated that every ability in Forgotten Land gets to benefit from the upgrading gimmick, even if it's not entirely equally distributed. If Super abilities or Robobot modes return I'd definitely want them to be universal to every ability in the game even if it meant less abilities with more limited movesets overall. That's the formula the best games, the Dark Matter Saga, used: few abilities with simple movesets but exciting combinations.

Elfilin says he was drawn to the planet by the song TWINKLING STAR SHOWERS, but there are some who say he arrived in a meteor that fell to the planet. If he did arrive in a meteor then that means he could influence the direction of the meteor and can hear things while inside it. Another mystery is the top of Lab Discovera, which has a radio tower and a helipad on it, but we never see a helicopter anywhere in the game. I speculate that this helipad was a last-ditch escape method in case Fecto escaped. And where did that semi-truck come from? I speculate it came through a portal courtesy of Elfilin since he has that power.

When it comes to shipping, canonicity isn't the absolute but the support in your ship. Canonicity and officially backed material is great in supporting your ship, hence why I brought up the way that King Dedede and Kirby have a lot more moments and interactions throughout the series and how King Dedede's redemption and growth is intertwined with his rivalry and friendship to Kirby and in a lot of promotional material, King Dedede tends to be paired up with Kirby like in pic related which helps in the general quality, appeal, and understanding of the ship. It's not so much to say this is canon but that this is good.

I think Originull Wastes is easily the biggest place to get damaged, since it's where the Awoofies came from and it seems they are endangered in their purer forms, possibly showing an adaptation after they left the Forbidden Island. For all we know a lot of the animals adapted upon leaving the island. I have a dark theory regarding Wondaria's dogs; they might have been victims of Fecto's assimilation. Or they traveled with them to space. That being said, the closest thing we see to dogs are Awoofies, and I doubt their dogs were Awoofies. Obviously, they weren't eggs, but they clearly had floppy ears which Awoofies don't have. Dogs are one of many animal species who no longer exist on the planet, but maybe Elfilin can atone for his actions by warping animals from other planets to the Forgotten Land to live. I think another reason the inhabitants left was Fecto took out all their livestock (if they had any) and they had to come up with new ideas for food, courtesy of Alivel. For all we know the invasion is what broke Lightron up, with it needing to focus all its energy on studying and containing IDF-86. It couldn't build or provide entertainment like it once did, and therefore two new companies were created to fill those societal needs.
