IDW is so utterly disappointing that I even lost interest in reading it just to hate on it. It's glorified fanfiction to me, there's nothing you could say or do to make me see the events of IDW as canon in any way, shape, or form. They lost me the moment IDW #19 was released. That’s not the Shadow I love. That's a bastardized, idiotic joke, a twisted misinterpretation born out of Ian's spite. Anyone who continues to defend IDW so late into the game, despite everything that's happened, doesn't truly understand or love the Sonic series and the characters that mean so much to so many of us. Just as encouraging a friend to smoke wouldn't make you a good friend, supporting IDW and all of its glaring errors wouldn't make you a good fan. Hardcore IDWfags are predatory leeches who find it super heckin' wholesome to stomp on creative visions in a "death of the author" mentality that makes me think Western fans should be banned from even attempting to touch this franchise again, barring the movies.Randomfox might be extreme, but he's right about IDW.
