Too late, I'm well past the prologue. I also don't want to fuck up the rest of the game by accident, like getting council sessions where two contradictory etudes are called at the same time.

That's the thing I had the chance to do that first time, but a lot of her shit didn't happen (like the mongrel trader girl thing, and the knife). Because I categorize Wenduag as a neutral alignment companion, I wanted her as well as Lann for the "neutral" playthrough (not neutral in the DnD sense, neutral in the character archetype sense, i.e. neither villain nor paragon).
Admittedly, I have more than enough for a full team with Woljif, Greybor, Lann and Nenio and I don't really need another fighter either, so I can do without her.

Just save before dialogue also you can preview all dialogue through toybox if you want to know exactly how the NPC will react. Also you can enable auto roll 20 outside combat to automatically succeed dialogue checks

As Kinetic Knight do I just permanently use the kinetic weapon? Like I never have to worry about equipping a real weapon? Does my other hand have to always be empty too

I would love it, though while Fantasy is infinitely more tolerant than 40k, the reaction to a High Elf of Dwarf walking into a port city would be much different than a normal human. So your choices for a main character will likely just be Imperial and Imperial (wizard). You can branch off from there though, there are a lot of paths a bog standard human can go down in Fantasy, especially a super special MC, like Grail Knight or Vampire or Chaos Champion.
Though I imagine a lot of people will want a Fantasy crpg to be low powered with your classes being things like Ratcatcher

Wonder if I should squiddify Gale. Fracture/Shatter Psyche is incredibly strong on a DC caster and if you have two DC casters with that power you get even more save-shredding potential.

Why do most CRPGs handle alignment and morality so poorly? Why does every good choice boil down to "we gotta do the right thing guys!" while every evil choice is either "ugly bitch, pay me double!" or "[Attack] I'll kill you for no reason in particular!"

Most people lean lawful or chaotic, good or evil, and alignments are an average in the first place, no one said a NG person can't be self-serving and evil at times
