I played 500 games last year before burning out, almost a year later and I burnt out after 25 games.This game asks for so much and gives so little enjoyment in return. learn all the items, learn all the timings, learn the massive map, learn the jungle spawns, learn box routes, learn all the heroes, learn the movement, learn all the unintuitive ASSFAGGOTS shit and then after hundreds of hours you can play this game. Even when you have fun in this game you've got to snap yourself out of it so you don't forget to do your MOBA chores.making a mobashooter was a mistake, the genres don't complement each other at all. There is nothing in deadlock that is enhanced by adding shooter and movement mechanics but there are many things made worse by it, it's a shit MOBA and a shit shooter. 3 lanes have made the game a boring farmfest. Adding a draft and letting people queue into solo or duo lanes would've solved all the issues with solo lanes, instead they've made the entire laning phase feel completely pointless. Early kills give no gold and no advantage to the point were hitting boxes will be more advantageous than harassing and killing.The mid game feels worse too, before you could keep pushing and switching lanes now you push a lane and have to zip out of there before the deathball shows up to punish you and punishing the deathball is harder because split pushing is harder.Every 3 lane game feels the same, 4 lanes were much more dynamic and interesting but midwit redditors didn't like solo lanes because they had no one to blame when they got BTFO.
