Moving through the hub areas where there's nothing to do isn't fun at all (unless you're messing with the Sky Gem, but there isn't much substance to that). The level design in Sonic's stages is good enough that it makes up for a lot of the problems for me. I'm looking forward to playing Legacy of Solaris and P-06, they seem to have better controls, so it should be even more fun
