I think I have a solution for snowballing out of control and lower the ttk a little:Items give more individual stats but their value is lower, so you need to build more items together but you get more additional stats in the process. For example, Infinity Edge has lower AD but you have a bit of attack speed and/or a tiny bit of % movement speed on top of that.
