How do I learn to make better use of lorebooks? I always just throw stuff in at maximum scan depth or always on so it basically ends up being another part of the definition. If it's not referenced right away and the user doesn't know about it (they shouldn't have to "metagame") then how can I guarantee that certain entries will even be used at all? Nested entries with randow variables to give an illusion of creativity to the AI? Won't people just complain about wasted caching if you cram random pick functions everywhere?
