Here's my idea for a Yoshi game: It starts with the stork flying peacefully over Yoshi's Island, when suddenly, the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs (which didn't happen in the mario world) crashes into the stork and slams into Yoshi's Island, a massive explosion follows, but instead of killing the Yoshis, the impact triggers a evolutionary event, transforming them and other nearby creatures into more brutal, realistic versions of themselves, then, everything gets trapped in amber.Fast forward to modern times: Captain Toad is exploring some ancient ruins when he accidentally releases the evolved Yoshis and other creatures from their amber prisons.We meet Evolved Yoshi, and soon after, he comes face-to-face with Modern Mario, in the long awaited reunion, upon seeing him, Yoshi is overwhelmed with memories of the silly babies, which helps him regain and retain his sanity.What follows is Evolved Yoshi, who is a combination os his animalistic design with his more humanoid design, joining forces with Modern Mario. He uses his tongue like a whip, cracking his enemies skulls, he can spit acid and can make parts of his skin glow. The goal of the game is to stop the other evolved creatures from wreaking havoc on the modern Mushroom Kingdom.
