One dynamic I like with Infernoids and Qlis (and also the later Zefra) is that the Infernoids corrupt death which is why they have a heavy focus upon mass sending monsters to the GY and banishing monsters from either GY, while the Qlis and Zefras are Pends to represent some form of purity that natively protects against the Infernoid threat/Shaddoll virus. Zefraath's double pend in particular is meant to represent Master Diamond understanding of life and how "he'll see his departed comrades again"

Genesys is saving Yugioh in the west, but kind of weird how divided we are with the OCG. Over there they don't need alt formats because cardboard is dirt cheap anyway, I presume I wouldn't complain about how hard the game is to keep up if I had easy access to all the cards in common rarity. In fact if cards were easy to get, we'd probably be playing petdecks. Instead building Shining Sarcophagus, Toons or Heroes tends to be crazy expensive with no real return on investment so most of us don't truly do it (and even playing petdeck vs petdeck yours might have a powergap with the enemy's so you built it for nothing)

Ketu/Rahu/Lukias/Mululu + any monster is 2 fusion summons. Faimena + any Dragontail + any monster plays turn 0. Even the traps are live if you make zero fusions and refund themselves. Branded has a bunch of cards that get Branded Fusion or winmore if you resolve Branded Fusion, and little else. Branded would want something like an that can combo with basically any other card worth playing (Cartesia, Quem, O.G. Albaz, Albion) or even the spells into making an Albaz fusion, because its current plan is 2 card combos with specifically Aluber/Branded Fusion or multicard with specific combinations.
