Like Zomom's design is such a massive glowup from his original, Zavok looks genuinely badass and Zazz just looks like a wild supernatural animal they threw clothes on. The only design which I unambiguously prefer the original is Zeena but that's cause I'm a turgid man of lust. The NiGHTS comparison especially works considering the Lost World DLC.

Also Big is genuinely a great design as he still looks stylistically cohesive with everyone else but no other character really has his features in terms of the face and silhouette which makes him very lasting besides the initial ironic then genuine appreciation he got. I think there is a balance to strike between making characters both look like their species while not losing the Sonic style while not being cookie cutter. Vector is one of my all time fave characters and design wise is the perfect mix of unique shape, cool ass animal and still being in style for me personally. That's my autistic opinion laid bare.
