Salutations, Brothers! You will be pleased to know that a new version of the Dude Wall has been deployed with a lot of changes:
- All new submissions (and an IF#6 update) have been added to both versions of the Wall - there are two new successor Chapters as a result: Angels of Vengeance and Steel Confessors;
- Website updates:
-- All Unknown Founding chapters, Homebrew Dudes as well as Chaos Khorner collages have been updated to new format making Dudes more visible and prominent;
-- Missing heraldry pads from certain chapters have been added.

The only two chapters where the collage has to be updated are loyalists: The Risen and World Eaters. Once this is done I'll focus on making and updating custom frames for individual chapters.

An extra armor pip, if that was turned into a perk, would quite literally be up there with +30% HP for Heavy i.e. an instant must-have that would never be traded out for anything. More armor means more chances to regenerate from perks like Restoration, or Focused Restoration, or Flame of Ascension. Consider that armor pips reduce any and all melee attacks from any source into one pip of damage, whether it's a Warrior, a Carnifex, or a Lictor, an extra armor pip can be the difference between 0% HP damage and losing 80% of your life.

All the first founding legions have readily available information covering everything. So for example with your guy, the Raven Guard don't have the chapter iconography on the right shoulder. I don't know what the devs were smoking with that one. They also have a more silver/metallic grey chest aquila, instead of the solid black.

Don't. Sniper is focused on removing primary ranged threats, but when everything is a primary threat and the mode revolves around shitting out as much damage as possible in as small a timeframe as possible, his kit falls apart. Your best bet is the bolt carbine and running around like a gimped vanguard.

No. The only "successful" chimera is Alpha Primus, and that required a complete re-engineering of his genome at the most basic level, beyond what even Custodes go through. Even then, he's in excruciating pain at all times and is psychologically broken to the point that he doesn't even consider himself a person and while he is a psyker, his abilities send that pain into overdrive so he doesn't use them much.
Every other attempt has resulted in a mindless berserker that even Khorne would call excessive, or they simply died right there on the surgical table.

It's stylish. And you can choose whether you want to power backstep to hurt/stagger everything in front of you before doing an extra safe gunstrike, or you can skip the backstep and just gunstrike for the extra 20% gunstrike damage.
Best melee weapon for parrying hands down. And especially the best for gunstrikes.
Also they buffed whirl slash so it's actually decent at dealing with hordes now.

The healing systems outside of medkits are also obviously designed around you tanking through shit. With the amount of shit the game throws at you at this point with crazy extremis and terminus spawns at higher difficulties, and crazy high spawn rates in siege in general, the concept of realistically avoiding the relentless chains of attacks thrown at you at that point becomes ridiculous.
They've been pushing the limits of what the combat system was designed to be able to deal with since they added lethal. Between the gayoss spawn and absolute+ stratagems with fucked up modifiers, 10.0 stretched those limits to the Nth degree.

The main problem is Sniper just kills, he doesn't do more "generalist" stuff on top of the killing.

While Heavy is blowing his load spaffing plasma ropes everywhere, his Iron Halo is dealing AOE DOT all around him, so while he hyperfocuses a single priority target, he's horde clearing at the same time. It's something no other character can do

Bulwark melts enemies in close range, is super tanky, is only second to Vanguard for team health sustain, and is very good now at closing space thanks to Shield Rush. Puts him in very advantageous positions against enemies others struggle with like Terminators.

Tactical can output near-similar DPS, but also excels at Extremis+ melting and smart placement of the 120%+ Auspex bubble, often on top of himself while he's surrounded, leads to the fastest deletion of enemies in the game. He also feeds the team infinite equipment.

It's stuff like this where you kinda realize Sniper is too specialized in one aspect of the game, he just shoots heads and spams equipment.

Killing majoris enemies doubles as minoris clearing for Tyranids so Sniper is doubly effective in Tyranid missions.
Tougher for chaos because tzaangors are flying around, spawn heads are too tiny, etc.
Still, removing majoris threats like Rubrics are still valuable. The sniper's boss damage contributions beyond neurothropes is minimal which is his real shortcoming but since those spawn with a wave now, he can remove distractions.

Intimidating Aura? No, it's always been God-tier, the only change it ever received was getting a 5-second cooldown, which sent it from SSS-tier to SS-tier. It's still THE best perk in the game, arguably the only one that mogs Tactical's Battle Focus.

To be fair, the knowledge regarding AA is pure "test it and find out." It explains nothing about how it actually functions. Only played Darktide but Darktide has way more going on in terms of mechanics.
Both of the highest difficulty content will have mob enemies/non-specialists peppering you for significant damage but it's a bit harder to avoid those in SM2.
I haven't fucked with Havocs in Darktide but I found the toughest content in SM2 right now (Hard Strategems) to be tougher than Auric Maelstroms.

It's the best 7/10 game I've played in a long while. All of the problems only start becoming apparent when you're in Absolute / Hard Strat / Hard Siege where enemy numbers break the game's combat flow into an annoying mess.

Perfect parries on this stratagem do extra damage like intimidating aura but with no cooldown, so that + auspex on perfect parries is just a no brainer combo that allows you to sweep majoris and extremis as long as your parry timing is on point

The instant kill on auspex headshots is VERY useful for how many terminators you're going to be running into, also works well on biovores in a pinch

It's more that a significant amount of damage from pyreblaster is from the burn, not the direct damage. The burn damage is based on difficulty level, not weapon stat. Therefore, common lvl 1 pyreblaster does almost as much damage as a relic pyreblaster. Bot always have basic unypgraded weapons so pyreblaster bot does significantly better damage than any other bots and you get bot huge hp pool on top of it

I prefer melee damage on assault on terminus/extremist. Gunstrike is the next preference. Ability recharge is last. Every class except heavy benefits from that melee bonus and 20% is substantial. Gunstrike is nice and universal but the damage itself is not insane (gunstrike is mostly for utility). 10% ability recharge is just too little.

Assault is honestly better with Gunstrikes buff, as 10% recharge is basically fuck all, since you have other ability regen ways for most classes where it matters.

Tactical grenade refill is so strong, however, that I consider those who don't take it to be throwing. Like what the fuck was saber thinking by giving already one of the strongest classes in the game ability to give his entire team limitless krak/melta bomb. It and vanguard heal are by far the strongest team perks in the game, with heavy's 25% rdr being a bit further behind.

No dodge without a replacement is too much. There are too many attack types from dangerous enemies which are built around dodging away or through them. I would say that they need to be able to block these attacks to reduce the incoming damage at the very least. Either they can all hold parry to engage a bulwark-like block or you need to parry the orange attack (including psychic bubble waves) to mitigate the damage and avoid a hard knockdown. Given that just about any terminator is going to have a power arm of some kind by default we can "justify" how they can do it.

I have no proof of this but it feels like the game sometimes forgets what region you're in and the matchmaking breaks until you restart the client. I've had many experiences where the game can't find people even though it's peak hours on the US west coast and I have crossplay on. I prefer the chainsword over the power sword, hammer, and fist. It's just the best when it comes to feel and aesthetics. It's also not as mashy.
Inferno pistol gives you a 20% melee damage boost. It's also a great opening for melee combos. I use block, so I don't really rely on gunstrikes that much, so the shitty gunstrike range doesn't bother me.

The inquisitor makes a bit more sense, but it's strange when you've got an army of vaguely British accented Cadians and then some middle eastern officer. I suppose there would be several accents in each world of the Imperium, but to maintain unit cohesion in the real world you try to recruit from the same vague area. Plenty of problems in forming cohesion when with recruits from different cities and I don't know how much human psychology would change in 39,000 years. The Ultramarine characters look like they are from all over the place too, but it makes a bit more sense given their ages, indoctrination and disparate origins. That being said they should at least sound very similar since several decades should be enough to develop similar accents.

A sane developer would have crunched the difficulties into easy, medium and hard scaling ONLY with enemy spawn type. They then would have re-designed Chaos so they melee when in melee range and just released more operations. Cosmetics, operations and weapons it was SO FUCKING SIMPLE.

There is another major coop game where the devs have just posted that they fucked up their recent release, and are doing an entire rework to fix it. Meanwhile in Saberland they've doubled down on Heroics being dogshit side grades (which they can't even achieve, because not ONE of them is a side grade). Its fucking maddening.

This is EXACTLY what is wrong with SM2. It isn't simple. Guns for example have headshot and body shot damage as well as firepower stats which then have to go through armor and difficulty equations. Its a fucking mess and its no wonder that the game is unbalanced.

Having to predict the timing of an attack and preparing ahead of time (with the correct timing) is something different but workable, and then if you fail (by being too slow) you can still avoid damage. The problem is simply that there is not enough of an offensive advantage to justify its defensive weakness compared to Fencing.

This is the big one that truly makes balanced feel like shit. It doesn't matter if fencing deals less damage, it keeps you alive with minimal effort. If you can't use block, it's the best option. Balanced on the other hand baits you in with good allrounder stats but then flubs the moment two extremis enemies fight over your dick.

Block doesn't really accomplish much more than constantly getting gunstrikes from parries.
It just makes the game more difficult to achieve the same result more than anything.

Full block is better for pure melee but balance/fencing is better to compliment a balanced playstyle depend on weapon perks/class perks. For example, for the bolt carbine, it's nicer to be able to just parry+gun strike to fully reload your gun via gun perk and go brr at the enemy as they get staggered.

Balance cucks me when i get shit connection. Windup time is a bitch when you get 100+ ping and sometimes makes fun of you. Block on the other hand is instant so better if mastered. And fencing is meme without damage. I can see the only way to play it is power axe and some power backstep, gunstrike, shield rush/vanguard ability shenanigans.

I wanna say this would be incredibly good with Sniper's stealth auto-pop on dodge, but the problem is the cooldown is ridiculous. It should be like 10 seconds for cloak on dodge, not 30. It might actually have a cute and functional gimmick build over PoE if it were shorter.

Honestly, it is better to build stacks then manually activate cloak for the extra sauce from the cloak damage perk bonus. Equipment recharge is so good that it is not worth giving invis on dodge for. You can easily recharge the cloak with a few headshot instantly anyway

For bosses, sure. But in an idealized world stealth on dodge has a much shorter cooldown, the 150 + 120 boost Shadow Stab even under the retarded dev math would allow you to just nuke an Extremis instantly.
