I've been playing BF for 23 years but I don't join video game generals until there's a new game coming out. I learned that basically when /vg/ was first introduced and I hung out in Starcraft 2 generals. That there's basically nothing of value in these threads if there's no new game coming out. Probably 80% of /bfg/ is people who didn't even frequent the general before BF6 announcement, you're just talking to a bunch of new people with different behavior.
