We just need the seasons back. We need Triumphs to farm, we need to visit a vendor everyday, we need to listen to PNJs talking about their life. The game's content would be much richer if we didn't lose the last 4 years worth of seasonal stuff, the game pre EoF was much bigger and it hasn't recovered yet, Bungie keeps bringing back seasonal content for the portal but without its own seasonal loot and storylines there's just no reason to play it over caldera or a shorter mission.The worst offender is practically all of the old seasonal content since 2021 and even earlier is still in the game, just the references and game logic has been removed, so the game size excuse is just a lie.
Delete expansion and bring back seasons. Next year, no expansion. And put four seasons again in game. Raids? We (99.99999999% of the playerbase) don't care. Put "epic mythic plus hardcore" versions of old raids if you want to give something for the streamers to stream during a weekend and that's it.

But Bungie has completely missed the point for why people like Destiny. I finally made it to 480. Honestly at this point the grind is not that bad but I can't say I want to do it twice. Loot is kinda meh. Sure there are some okay specials but featured gear and legendary primaries are in such a shit state. I just don't want to use that shit most of the time and yet I'm punished if I don't bring one of the four approved heavy non-raid exotics or try to make the like three trash legendary heavies work. I'm so over these guns. If every enemy was not a bullet sponge maybe I would not feel so strongly about it but fuck if I'm tired of emptying three or four primary clips into a cabal slightly out of optimal range and watching them have enough health to get one more volley of blinding missiles off in my general direction. Like fuck man am I a god slayer or a fucking garbage man? I can't tell anymore. I know this kind of play gets raiders dicks leaking but the rest of us have porn for that. Modifiers can be fun but it can also turn play into a slog for multiple days in a row. Exotic Missions? Over them. Dungeon Lairs take it or leave it. I don't care for them. There is currently no good loot chase, no story, no seasonal activity, just number go up shit. Solo Ops? I'm 100% done with that shit. Not going back. I be going to old destinations looking for old shit to do because I'd rather do a fucking Shadow Keep bounty than a Kepler side quest. I still don't have the new exotic hand cannon. I look at that landing zone and I'm fucking exhausted, the vex can keep it. That's me tho. We still out here, grinding. Finding fun where I can. It is what it is. When I have nice things to say you'll be in the loop.
