On one hand, I did upgrade my health properly for him when previously I was rocking 5 hearts partially because it was late at night and wanted to get it over with, but at the same time the real reason he's a tougher boss is just because he has way too much health and he's actually pretty generous with giving health out probably because of that. I'd call him a good boss if his health was cut in half. I always like the Kammy refight under the Daredevil comet in Galaxy 1 because it's a little more challenging than your usual boss fight but it isn't overly drawn out. Galaxy 1 and 2 in general have some neat bosses though of course they have the weakest one in the bug with a baby bug on it's back.

Not gonna lie, Galaxy 2 is quite a bit worse than 1. The levels don’t feel authentic but rather too ”videogamey”. They’re super linear, everything’s just jump here kill this enemy jump there. They feel like fanmade *videogame levels!!!* instead of new worlds you explore. What doesn’t help is most levels only having 3 stars. And that’s not to mention the exhaustion that comes with playing 2 simply because it doesn’t give you any breaks between worlds. You’re just grinding levels off a list instead of exploring awesome areas and then cooling down in the observatory; talking to NPCs, unlocking shortcuts and generally just existing in a calm space. 2 completely lacks any sense of progression outside of recruiting species to Starship Mario.
