On the other side, "hard-mode" open world modifier is a cool concept and I would love to see them expand on this.The new Devourer demon hunter looks awesome. The particle effects are fantastic, and it immediately made me think of Red-mage style design from XIV; I'm wondering how that's going to work in WoW (Probably better desu).Apex talents seem cool, I understand that having a single non-choice style node cluster would be helpful for game balance but I worry that in the quest for improved class fantasy they'll just be making EVERY feral druid a blink-cat, and EVERY Devourer a Collapsing Star spam build. If your apex talent buffs a specific feature of the class, like how they've designed it to be, wouldn't that shoehorn you into that specific playstyle? The game had exponentially more players than current live back then.My theory is the new ownership at Microsoft saw this sub data and said it's time to go back to that simple combat style. Genuinely I think chain heal being an infinitely spammable aoe heal with true smart healing might actually be bad for the class, but changing chain heal from a "you hit it with high tide or when you REALLY need extra healing" to just a 15-25s cd might ultimately be really good for the health of the class if they wanted to go down that route. The conflict between healing wave/surge and chain heal has been a thing for so long now and they both effectively do the same thing in a very unintuitive way (cleaving healing waves/surges and chain heals operate incredibly similar in terms of strengths and the only difference is mana efficiency)Also Jak like many wow streamers are a huge panderer.
