This encounter has been my single most worst experience in all of my MH life. I'm sure others have had it just fine but from the very start I was having absolutely no fun. I initially tried fighting it with friends, was the majority of deaths causing failures every time. I tried solo with the NPCs and for some reason they would exclusively stay mounted and ride around in circles watching as I take all the aggro and die on repeat until failure, every time. I've beaten everything else in the game so I know my gear isn't bad. I'm also not someone who enjoys ramming my face into it repeatedly for 20 hours before finally getting a win. This one I think I'm going to just sit it out. The gear is not worth the time and frustration for me. Just sum it up to skill issue I guess, don't care.

Grinded out the rest of the garuga shell that I needed for armor which was actually hard because I had upgraded the quest already so it drops at a lower rate. I should have never sold garuga parts for money. Found out I can make the rathian great sword as an upgrade and just need some scales but fucking hell with my gear G rank rathian takes like 40 min per kill so it's a slow grind. Anyway I put that aside and hopped on sunbreak to grind out more daora risegems to make the armor. I got distracted by research requests for afflicted pukei though I mean I had to hunt pukei he's fun. So basically today I hunted monsters. Can you say the same?
