I've always believed that Zani would be better with a hand-to-hand fighting style equipped with gauntlets than one that involves her using a broadblade. Obviously there are many games out there with absolutely excellent fist movesets, but it turns out that Punishing Gray Raven already has one, so I don't even need to use examples from outside of Kuro Games. My only qualm is that the performance in Rinascita is markedly worse compared to that of Huanglong and Black Shores. It gets particularly shitty in Sanguis Plateau. The bosses are also a big highlight, both in terms of movesets and in terms of visual designs and the spectacle of fighting them. Lioness of Glory and Kelpie are two of my favorite bosses in the game. I also have to give a shoutout to the "middle difficulty" enemies like the Corrosaurus and Kerasaur. They have almost as many moves as bosses and are exactly the type of mid-tier-difficulty enemies that Wuthering Waves needs more of. If anything, these types of enemies should be the majority of enemies like how it is in Nioh.The resonators introduced throughout Rinascita are some of the most visually splendorous in the entire game in terms of their looks and their movesets. Even someone who on release was considered flashy like Yinlin pales in comparison to all the Rinascita characters in terms of flashiness. I also like how Kuro are finally breaking free from the 5 weapon archetypes to allow for more imaginative movesets (for example: Iuno has "gauntlets", but she is more of an archer).Overall, I'd Rinascita a 9/10.

All this giga shilling for galbrena, a character we literally hadn’t even heard of before this patch, has the opposite effect on me, it makes me hate her instead. The shilling becomes even more obvious when rover gets corrupted by the dark tide, and instead of carty, it’s galbrena who saves them. Didn’t the writer literally foreshadow at the end of the 2.4 patch that carty wanted to become stronger so she could be the one to save Rover when they were in trouble? The opportunity was right there, and they handed it to galbrena instead, completely wasting an easy setup-and-payoff moment. I probably wouldn’t even care this much if it wasn’t the finale of the Rinascita story, but they gave it to a literal who instead of letting everyone share the spotlight equally.
