Even with the EXP dungeon it's an absolute slog to get blue stats on any digimon. Am I missing something?I'm not using any training items because it's a hassle to go from store to store to Zudomon to create training items. Is there a more convenient way to craft them? I was hoping the in-between theater would offer this as a service.
For anyone playing Mega+, have you encountered any SP issues with no items and tanky opponents? Do you have the healer skill that also gives SP to solve it?

what Digimon really surprised you in TS? I went into Kuzuhamon to fill out the field guide planning to change her out later but she performed extremely well. Removing debuffs from herself is very often relevant late and after a reversal, her 90 power, 25% crit dark attack on data becomes a 3x/4x attack against most end game enemies. I just carried on with her instead of switching out to Sakuyamon.

New Century predates the rest but we weren't sure any of them were ever leaving China prison for awhile, but then Liberator dropped Kaguyamon on us, Alysion gave us Yukinamon, the vpet was announced with Amaterasumon, a lot of people are expecting the anime to have Tsukuyomimon, and Time Strangers which was plotted since 2019 at the latest included Kunlun and used the Shambala lore we only just learned about recently. A lot of the individual pieces had a lot of lead in too so they would've had to have planned the whole project years ago and just sat on the Digimon for a long time.

Ok so Digimon Time Stranger was amazing, but I have one gripe. I don't like the way "free" type Digimon work. I don't really want a Digimon category that has sort of neutral matchups against everything with no other real upside. It feels super bad to use both offensively and defensively. What I think they should do is keep the notion that they do not have any specific weaknesses or resistances when matched against virus, data, and vaccines, but double the super-effective or resistance for them when dealing with elements. Then they'd actually be pretty comfy to use and would feel more on par with the other vaccines, viruses, and datas. Did anybody else feel super underwhelmed by the free types?

So many bosses are virus, dark resist, light weakness. And the game is so heavily oriented around RPS with strong tools involved with it too that it really encourages the use of certain digimon. At this point everyone knows how ridiculously overpowered Angewomon is for a huge stretch of the game already due to having all the perfect attributes to interact with the system.Free types being weak is less a characteristic of the type and more a symptom of the larger overall problem I think. In theory you might want to like, prepare a free support or something that can never be outright sniped out of nowhere but there're only so many free types which limits what their useful roles are and you're better off just going with a vaccine or reversing a data, maybe just straight up playing a virus since it's functionally neutral so often.
