Something I find strange is that people hold up kali as an unreachable powerlevel. Sure it's true that it'd be insanely difficult to get to her level, but that's kind of missing something really important. She doesn't have some inherent quality unique to her alone that made her the strongest that no one could reach. It was a confluence of a strong willed, high level fixer being in the right place at the right time. I'm sure there are other fixers, grade 1s and colors, who if put in the same spot would have ended up as 'the strongest' instead, even if only a handful. Losing a sinner was a hefty blow but it wasn't the end of all, hell I remember the first time I beat kromer I did so with 2 half dead sinners remaining. I much prefer a game that makes you try and be smart with how you manage with resources (including which characters are alive) than the winrateslop we have today.The only truly cancerous bosses I remember from the early days was prenerf aida becuase it was a human fight and kromer when she had the retarded "heal on burn/bleed" passive
