So things like that one man on first abyss that can appear randomly where you get option to try help or ignore. Getting it multiple times a week doesnt do anything. abyss 1 was revolutionary for a gacha game (possibly the best RPG I played in 2024 even). Really loved the oppressive feel even at the beginning and not knowing what to do with so much ways to "brick" your party in the early game. And it was cool to save everyone and albanoabyss 2 was good with the branching paths stuff but the knowledge bug and arena bullshit really downgraded the whole experience from great to just good. Water puzzles was also whateverabyss 3 was great all around and the bullshit despair feel was there with sentries in every floor and the endurance run to boardaon. Also some bullshit mandatory fights like gambler and doll which was fun. Golem puzzles was cool too

So, how are they going to scale the next abysses if the only thing that increases for us with new gear tiers is defense and the base atk on our weapons? Defense is shit, blessings are the same, we will essentially just be the same exact adventurers with 50 more damage and no more way to survive since defense is useless and we cant stack evasion any higher besides maybe a +5 increase from the next tier of shoes. Kinda seems like the current system is not scalable at all, they will have to make blessings scale with gear tier or make defense actually matter. Probably both. The only other solution is making mobs basically stay the exact same difficulty with slightly more hp for our 50 extra damage but their accuracy cant keep climbing or evade becomes permanently bricked
