Ben Hurst's description of Sonic is accurate but that doesn't change the fact that his primary OC is usually a signal that someone doesn't understand Sonic at all. Perhaps there is a way to write Sally that can be used to reflect Sonic's true nature. Unfortunately for her this has never happened officially aside from a handful of unlikely instances in the Pink Sally era.
