I feel like i'm plateauing hard as Doorman. I like to use Eido's build and run around ganking people. I know some good door positions, i can combo people just fine. I mostly bully the lane -> steal the jungle -> gank -> focus down a priority target in the late game, but i feel like there's more i could be doing as the character. Especially i feel like i'm not doing enough damage, i keep getting 20k damage games as Doorman which just isn't enough. Maybe it's because i keep buying so many utility items.

I figured out why the ranks were bad before. They had mmr decay so everyone ended up in the same bracket. Now everyone decaying doesnt matter you wont be in the same rank bracket because it's based on percentile now. So we get diversity of ranks despite mmrs are super numerically close

Someone like viscous has his extremely good cube, his punch can disrupt enemies a lot, and his cube can be a big annoyance while giving him a ton of defense. The only characters I can think of off the top of my head that aren't gun carries but still rely heavily on items are victor, yamato, and shiv. If they're behind they become really easy to destroy since they have no CC but they're also characters that can sometimes work with gun builds

Alchemist is decently low, and everyone just got adjusted to new ranks, so its probably going to be more of a toss uo than usual until everyone settles from the rank adjustment into their true ranks. If youre losing a bunch of games, hopefully you are helping the filtration process and those teammates are ranking down and soon you'll be left with people who actually play at your level. That being said, you may not be that good either, considering youre in alchemist.
