I've fucked around with melee Paige and while it is kinda fun I just feel like a retard the entire time because her kit is so obviously not built for it besides the snare and that's arguable. Just going around throwing telegraphed punches everywhere

I also often get Curse.Once you have Surge of Power, Tank Buster, Spirit Burn, and Boundless Spirit, your damage is pretty much maxxed out (save your ability upgrades).
