I want to order a skirmish unit to shoot something and I want it to retain that order even if its skirmish behavior made it run half the map, after the threat is gone I want it to keep following the unit I told it to. I want ranged units to not have LoS issues constantly. I want a unit to obey my order to move somewhere even if it's being stabbed by 400 Gor dicks from all directions, I gave you an order to fucking move somewhere, you obey it, you don't drop the order and start brawling. I want proper archer docking on walls, I want defensive sieges to be heavily in favor of the defender. I want garrisons to be customizable, let me pay for extra units in a garrison as I need them without having to manage 700 lords.

Your units would single-mindedly obey your orders: disengage, chase targets, flee on skirmish mode, even duel lords embedded in enemy infantry without forgetting who they were supposed to fight in the next 5 seconds. This is a player base that has supported the franchise for decades, yet the only time we hear from you is when something explodes and you are forced to apologize, always repeating the same line that you will not repeat past mistakes and then repeating them anyway.It is ridiculous that in an entire year you have not managed to deliver a single new DLC, and that Tides of Torment has now been delayed by nearly six months. Blaming bug fixes for pushing the release even further makes no sense when you only started addressing those issues in the last couple of weeks.Meanwhile, the current state of the game is borderline unplayable. The campaign AI and bugs you let slide for months have gutted the experience. Saying you will prioritize fixes from now on does not undo the fact that you neglected them until it became a public disaster.And after all this, the new features you are touting for the High Elves are underwhelming at best. >>542975672If you liked Warhammer, I wholeheartedly recommend Troy's with Mythos. You get the Warhammer-esque fantastical units (minotaurs, giants, centaurs, harpies, sirens, griffons and so on). You also get much better campaign map (resources matter more: for example areas rich in food can produce massive shitstacks, areas with bronze produce slow heavily-armored armies, areas with stone develop their advanced infrastructure faster, opening much more complex strategical decisions). I also like the combat more: AP is a lot more rare and armor matters a ton, terrain is a lot more important (heavy armor gets stuck and tired in mud, light infantry can sneak through tall grass), vigor matters more so tiring elite units through skirmish and chaff is very effective and sieges look better while giving defenders much better advantage. Ohh and tons of quests: each LL has unique ~18-step questline taking you through the campaign.

Open at your own risk. Odysseus is tucked away in a corner, he has by far safest starting location and he favors flanking and ambushes with Sword Runners ie fast light infantry with couple heavy-hitting javelins and shields but low armor. Agamemnon is surrounded by bronze-rich mountains and is great if you want tanky elite armies a la Chaos Warriors. Achilles is by far the strongest individual hero but has to contest with endless chaff spam from food-rich northern Thracians in addition to his Trojan enemies

Both are expected to run behind enemy lines and inflict massive damage: Sword Runners decimate archers while Javelineers deal devastating damage against any unit as long but they have very low ammo so you cant waste it against shielded units from the front. I think you'll enjoy him as LL. As for Mythos, well, that doesnt change much. You might have Giants (Monstrous Infantry) mixed into your mainline or Centaurs flanking, but in general the units are more rare than in Warhammer so they are less of an issue. Especially for Odysseus, since even if enemy has Centaur Cavalry for example, the Sword Runner javelins will handle them just fine.
