With the new AIR update I can finally get enemies to start initiating rape attempts on their own. AI still overly focuses on winning/losing instead of depraved sex tug of war, but I probably just need to get better at refining the encounters.
>>
>>543914238
What did they change?
>>
>>543918289
Have you done any file modding? You can pretty easily make combat entirely sex-focused by editing the "x attacks you" files and character/enemy gen files. I don't remember what they are off-hand right now.
Only problem from my experience was that it usually causes the enemy to immediately drop their weapon and just tackle you regardless of describing them as "attacking you using their lewd abilities or powers" or some such, so it always kind of just went into a grappling situation except for one really odd fight with a post-apocalypse bandit sniper woman who would send drones over to me from a distance to snapshop pictures of my character's crotch, while laughing every time he missed a rifle shot at her from behind cover. Good times.
>>
>>543923223
It's probably the easiest way to do it. Thankfully, it's extremely easy to find the relevant files in the game folder. Considering it says
>If a drawn-out encounter, challenge, or conflict has begun or is about to begin (e.g. combat, a duel, a minigame, etc)
Making it less about winning/losing should do the trick. The difficult part is to get the exact wording right so that it doesn't hyperfocus on something retarded every time.
>>
>>543924954
>The difficult part is to get the exact wording right so that it doesn't hyperfocus on something retarded every time.
Yeah definitely the case.
I kind of got addicted to make special variants of the combat/npc/enemy spawn prompts for different scenarios for a while, although last time I tried they stopped working (enabling them made it impossible to leave the options menu).
I'll have to take a look again. Kind of want to hold off and see how GLM will do instead of resubbing to Sapphire though..
>>
>Write my raw worldbuild straight into context so the AI can help me write the truncated lore later
>Try a trial run as is
>The outputs are excellent and I'm afraid that the parring down might affect the text quality
>Raw worldbuild is like a quarter-third of the context already
What should I do in this case if I eventually plan to share the story? I had the idea to follow through with my original plan of converting to lorebook and turning them all off, with a meta note advising the player to turn them back on when things go out of context. As things are tho, I'm racking up like 15+ lore entries to start, and no way am I asking people to tick all those boxes each time.

Hi, been a while. Just noticed GLM dropped, wanna give it a try but I'm curious about something: Erato requires Opus, but GLM is on Tablet tier? Is it just a lot cheaper, despite having ~5x more beaks?? Shouldn't it be more expensive to run than the 70B? I don't get it, not that I'm unhappy about saving some money in these trying times.
>>
>>543957862
Erato is just the sequel to Krake, which also never went to lower tiers
>>
>>543957862
GLM is actually cheaper to run than Erato, because it's less active parameters at once.
>>
>>543958478
Shouldn't they use Kimi or Deepseek instead since both also use ~30B active parameters?
>>
>>543958245
>>543958478
Neat! Also noticed the context limit difference. What a blast from the past.
>>
>>543959034
They still need to fit the total beaks for it to load. Kimi and Deepseek are larger than GLM.
>>
>>543958478
It's not just that, but also because it cannot make use of context caching which is a massive money saver.
>>
>>543959281
But once it's loaded, won't they be as cheap as GLM since they have almost the same #active parameters.
>>
>>543959720
What part of they can't fit it did you not understand?
>>
>>543959862
What part of few active para you don't understand?
>>
>>543959720
What the snot is an "active parameter", anyways?
>>
>>543960094
They are not able to load the full model. It doesn't matter how small the active parameters are, if they can't fit the full model, they can't use it at all.
>>
>>543959672
o_O doed this mean we're playing premium?
>>
GLM = 355 billion
Deepseek = 671 billion
Kimi = 1 trillion
They have talked about this several times on Discord. They chose GLM specifically because it's the only one of these three they can load. For fuck sake, you are dense.
>>
>>543960174
mixture of experts models have some hundreds of beaks but the ones that are actually in use changes for every token based on some kind of routing algorithm

You are missing out on the potential for mischief. It's fun to see how people react in story when I, the summoned hero, turn into a girl for shits and giggles. It is enjoyable to befriend a loli priestess and gather intel for how to better seduce them. When I eat out the muff of a barmaid who though I was a girl feeling funny; who knew not I was pretending, I find that fun. Straight shota never appealed to me.
Aside from that, I like to take advantage of discount coupons and bestow upon my squad mates the boons I acquire from my chicanery. When the villain demands me to take our rivalry seriously, I laugh in their face. Because it's absurd. That is fun. I want to see them have a mental breakdown as I prove a point just to spite them. You're telling me you have never pondered your inner Loki?
Even Alucard, badass he was, had a female form. You cannot comprehend my sexual preferences, for I transcend your notions of limited characterization.

The positivity bias is real. Unless you tell the AI it doesn't have to be 100% positive, it will be 100% positive
>>
>>543986548
What models are you using? GLM is more than capable of being negative without prompting.
>>
>>543986731
Yes it is, but not if you've done nothing but build it up as the "ai girlfriend who loves you"
It's out of character for the "ai girlfriend who loves you" character to suddenly disagree with you
These heavier duty models latch on to the details and are a lot less likely to deviate from them—which is good for 99.9% of use cases
People don't exactly want their ai partner to completely change personalities on a whim, you know
>>
>>543986995
Have you actually used GLM? Speaking from personal experience, it is more than capable of having characters act with autonomy, rather beyond your claim that the model's virtually unable to deviate from vague details it latches on, than what you give it credit for.
Here's a tip for you next time to make a character: give them an actual personality, fill in some details for their interests, dislikes, and ambitions, and you'll be amazed to see how much more realistic they act.

I start maybe 2-3 brand new prompts per year for this reason. There is a prompt I made in late 2023/early 2024 whose first 5k or so tokens remain mostly unchanged that I still cycle through on occasion. I think I've done over a dozen branching scenarios with it.

What is it about the Russian variant of schizophrenia that makes people unable to accept reality for what it is? Instead, people afflicted by the condition make increasingly absurd conspiracy theories to devalue the efforts of companies and individuals they dislike, wasting their time on much ado nothing, and leaving themselves with nothing better to do.
In the time you've obsessively shat up the thread, you could've changed careers. You could've gotten a degree. You could've lost a great deal of excess weight. You could've learned how to play an instrument. All things which are of greater value than spamming the same baseless claims on repeat, to a thread which a population beneath the triple digits. Even collectively, the total population of every AI thread doesn't surpass four digits.

>A maid's duty is to serve—whether you want her to or not
(1/2)
Congrats on publishing your first prompt!
I'll start off by saying that you can remove the extra line breaks between paragraphs if you want. Back in the day, I'd have said it was because the AI might get it in its mind to spam line breaks all over the place. Now, there isn't a reason one way or another unless you really like having the extra breaks. Though they might read as less isolating with more text in some of the paragraphs.
While you can absolutely get away without speech tags, I think you're leaving some descriptive potential on the table. Each line, even without a direct 'he said', could have some extra descriptors. Mind you, that's could, not should. Bare dialogue does have a place, especially in a snappy back and forth. But here it makes it feel like it's missing the reactions and casual worldbuilding. For instance, if she did insist on carrying you, that's an extra incentive for her to comment on how you're clearly not eating enough while off at school, since you've gotten lighter. There's a chance for a mention of the perspective, if her carrying you would have you higher in the air than your height (which is your chance to have a casual reference to the decorations/paintings/etc. on the walls as she carries you, for a little sprinkle of worldbuilding). Or walking being a strange change of pace inside the same halls and stairways you'd been carried before. When she is so insistent on cooking a full meal, there's opportunity to mention how, for her, that might be actually way more food than needed, or if she's good at cooking, or a number of other things. Or even just a moment to sigh internally at her constant coddling. These sorts of things can flesh out several (but probably not all) of the lines, showing character traits more clearly for both of them.
>>
when will someone make an ai writer that you don't have to constantly wrestle and stop from going retarded
>>
>>544061967
>>544081963
(2/2 I tried to be a bit shorter, I really did, but then I had more to say and it seemed a shame to only have a second post for a couple of sentences.)
In 'away." Maudlin', I'd remove both line breaks to bring it up on the same line as the dialogue. Since it's a speech tag, her declaring it, the period should be a comma.
I'm not going to say that Memory, Author's Note, or a Lorebook is fully necessary, especially with higher context, but they could help steer the story a bit with where you expect it to go, and maybe to give more insight into Maudlin's character. You had a good start on it with what you have at the end of the prompt, but having something similar in a Lorebook would let it stick around if someone carries on with the story long enough. Memory would also help, since you only mention his age in the description, not anywhere in the prompt, leaving the only concept of his age being that he's old enough to go elsewhere for schooling, which weakens the shota effect you want to have since he could be anywhere up to being almost an adult. How long has he been to his boarding school? Is this his first year, so she's feeling the distance more strongly, or is this just what happens every time he's away? Obviously it's not his first break or weekend to spend time at home, but is he still a bit homesick to be going home at every opportunity? These things help fill out your world and characters, even if the whole point is to spend the holiday swaddled up by this overbearing maid and whatever plans she has for you.
Some things to keep in mind for your future stories, whether published or not. I hope I see more prompts from you in the future! Are you planning something for the Theme?

>>

>>
>>544147456
It could come up during or after a thunderstorm in a story you want packed with sensory detail. Or occasionally there could be a whiff of it if you're talking about some bit of tech dying. Or in a story about people slinging spells, the wake of a shock or lightning spell (or similar skill, depending on the world) would definitely smell like ozone.
Testament could also be used in the case of someone dying (their last will and testament), or someone showing proof, even semi-casually, but it is easy to jump for the fancy word too much just to make the story feel fancy.

Is anyone else here really fucking picky with words?

All too often I get to the part of the story requiring a more creative flair, typically due to being highly descriptive or at times poetic, and I spend multiple hours trying to get it juuuust right. In one of my stories where a teenage queen with very large tits is putting on an opulent dress, two long paragraphs are entirely dedicated to describing their exceptional mass and how they fit into the royal attire. First I gotta make sure not to reuse words. Good thing there are many synonyms for breasts: chest, teats (IMO better than tits for a pseudo-medieval setting), bosom, globes, and so on. Gives enough freedom meaning that's not a big problem.

Then I get to the part describing how such prodigious endowment affects movement. After some regens I get "Each step sending ripples through their supple abundance." Yes, that's finally good enough. The others weren't necessarily bad in any objective sense, but my particular tastes need it to hit the right notes and avoid certain others in a certain way that I can't really articulate.

Then I have to describe the cleavage displayed by the low-cut neckline. I try and try again, never getting quite satisfactory description until I get "Pale twin moons peeking over the surface." Hmm. "Twin moons" isn't a bad choice of words, but the whole thing doesn't sound right. I keep the first three words, then start regenning again, and again. After a while, I get "Pale twin moons cresting over the horizon." Ahh, that hits exactly as I want it to.

Then once the whole thing is finished, I look at the clock and see that I spent over 4 hours just describing a pair of fat tits.

Overly descriptive metaphors and info dumps that end up a paragraph long to describe 1 character in 1 instance and gratuitous use of introspection are the biggest traps in writing. You never end up going anywhere with your story.
It's better to develop things overtime with use of onomatopoeia and shorthands and leave certain things vague or omitted for your own imagination.
>>
>>544184280
For me it was just heavy AI use. When GPT-4 got released on Scale and we had a week of free if error ridden use, I had it write whole paragraphs with very little editing and incorporate the output wholesale. None of us had developed an eye for slop by then because it only really took off with 3.5 Turbo and 4. Lots of bonds and mixtures of x and y that I was fine with merely because the model had a grasp of exactly what I wanted otherwise.

Now I crush testaments, ozone, whispers unless they're really called for, shivers down the spine, sparkling eyes, and other slop phrases the moment I spot them. But when you develop a hyper-sensitivity to certain patterns, you notice others too. Then it risks turning into obsessive nitpicking about all sorts of tiny details. "Brain bug" is a good way to put it.
