That dragon girl might be one of few left, and could be the last generation before they hit the point of no return. The other ancient monster species are probably in the same boat, since they mention that seeing them is super rare, even in company of their current descendants.

It's really just Minagi who seemed to have made a natural template, and that template lasted for thousands of years, at least until the 7DS fucked their genetics, and made vampires.
