However the whole point of this is for him to get to the point when he’s NOT the vulnerable child. And we see that with each movie. He becomes more independent, taking off on water without consulting tom and maddie, fighting knuckles in the temple, bring him and tails together to form a team and take down eggman, not hesitating to talk back at knuckles over the emerald to beat up Shadow, etc. If this were tumblr tier vulnerability slop like idw, all of those moments would’ve just been the parts where they talk out their feelings without getting angry and none of the fighting and effort to exhaust that energy or lock in. Do not lump the movies in with idw, idw is utter trash that skinwalks as game sonic while being lamer than hollywood

Haven't played a Sonic game since the original Generations release and thinking of getting back into it nowI'll probably pick up Shadow Generations, but thoughts on Frontiers and Super Stars? They look interesting to me (for the price they go for on sale of course), but it's always hard to tell if I'll like a Sonic game before I play it since they all control different. One thing I'm curious if how the script of Shadow Gens was adapted to Japanese.Flynn writes giving his pity to the Biolizard.The Japanese dub has Shadow acting like he did in A2. There was no change, Shadow just calls it ugly.Imeda then adapts the Biolizard by Shadow having pity for the monster. He possibly used the original script by Flynn rather than the rewrite.And lastly, I enjoyed how he interpreted Mephiles and Doom working together rather than what the original game did of Mephiles just being a boss with no significance.I will never forgive him for not using Neo Metal though.
