Mode is about even usually unless they blow you out with Medusa which most lists don't run, it's midabyss that's a problem for it because on top of having better answers for your boards they can sometimes just burst you to death. Roach is about even as well, and loot sword is extremely free.Problem is that during set 2 you actually lost pretty bad to midsword that just grinded harder than you and could burst you while you couldn't burst them and Crest is a terrible match up now for all the obvious reasons.

If it wasn't broken by crest it was going to be broken by something else, tons of people made that call during set 2 before it even saw any play since they anticipated heal haven exploiting it to stabilize. This nerf was extremely necessary, if they just made it not work with crest it'd remain a big problem card for later and pilots would just adjust around it. This change kills a lot of the ridiculous sequencing that benison is capable of like popping it against aggro before 5 crest beside a Grimnir sevo or Jeanne-Benison in the late game that checks every fucking reach play in the game since it clears, heals and wards.
