Probably a stupid question but it absolutely wooshed over my head. What is the lore reason for unlocking new characters here? We're unlocking them by stacking "memories"? Do we "wish" them into companionship like "oh yeah, I totally forgot this person exists, gotta call them up" and they just appear?Or is it just a game-y thing that one shouldn't give too much thought? I never played any kind of these games before if that matters.
