I genuinely don't know how well late surgers like Ryan/Grass/Vodka/Oguri etc are going to do in Leo. In Cancer they wound up being the meta, only beaten by a perfect Seiun or Falco. But Falco probably won't work in Leo because you have to basically waste a borrow getting 9* turf sparks so good luck getting her stamina high enough. Seiun will still work, but she's a touch hard to train with 0% growth in speed/power. I think you've got a real nice Maru there and I kind of doubt my Golshi would beat her

If you have enough stamina to finish the race, you don't necessarily have enough to begin accelerating to your top speed at that moment, whereas if you have max stamina (ie enough to start accelerating for that track distance as soon as the late-race begins), you do, so even if you're at 1100 speed, max stamina and high power would get you to that much faster than an uma who didn't gas out but started accelerating maybe 3 seconds after you did.
