In fact swimming is bad because you randomly get dragged to the bottom like some magnet pulls you. For at least a year or 2, mobs get stuck in evade and you have to wiggle around and hope they reset. Then there's a 50% chance after combat your character is stuck in the weapon holding pose and have to log out to fix. This has happened to me anywhere from once an hour to 4 or even 5 times. Some mobs spin around in circles when you engage them and move away from you constantly, like those crust bursters in Outland which got fixed but still do it maybe 5-10% of the time. NPCs in caves randomly path into the roof or floor and are swimming halfway in air, halfway in rock. Quest NPC pathing for escorts is fucked maybe 25% of the time, especially in Desolace and occasionally some Outland quests, including those miserable lore dump ones. The mechanochicken escort quests walk straight through the terrain and sometimes fall into oblivion and disappear and you fail. Oh, and they purposely fucked up mining node respawn. They used to spawn on top of each other and respawn within seconds sometimes, so the devs did the opposite and made spawn timers double retail while some nodes never, ever, ever spawn. If a single person is farming mithril in your zone, you are fucked and will probably never obtain any. They did this on purpose because they were tired of players complaining that mining nodes spawned too fast.These have been around for at least 1, some of them up to 3 years and I have no hope for them getting fixed. If anything, Chromiecraft is moving too fast with updates.
