Your average discord "artist" is somewhere in the ballpark of 15-30 IQ points lower than your average discord "programmer". "Programmers" are much more open to doing revshare because they intuitively understand the concept of front-loaded work for long-term returns.

That said, "programmers" and "artists" don't make games. That's why all revshare projects fall apart. You need game designers, art directors, and product managers.

As you can see he actually has really good fidelity on the ear despite it being a 6th gen game.

It looks like the pumpkins go straight for a bit and then are affected by gravity and start to arc down? It's a little weird because it seems like they'll just go straight like a projectile at first but unless I'm going crazy sometimes they arc down at the end. It seems like it would feel better if there was a constant arcing (like throwing them slightly upward to start) or if they just went straight the whole time.

I had it before that the pumpkin would arc up a bit before going back down, but it would hit some of my lower solid platforms and break. So I had changed it to just go straight before going down. I can try to have the downward arc start earlier and ease out slower.

The walking box is meant to be helpful so it's not too happy when the player attacks it.

I understand what you're saying, and that's definitely the case for Blender. In Blender textures are fugged up if they're not set as the correct color format, but in Unreal you plug it in and it "just works", I don't think that's the issue. I get where you're coming from but unless you mean something different than what I'm attempting here that's not it, in fact UE won't even allow me to change the color space without errors, it's expecting a standard color texture, and I've never heard of color spaces being too relevant to the unreal material workflow.
I'm now convinced it's this shiny in the actual game, that's how the devs textured this asset. Thanks for the help though, anons who genuinely help are the reason these threads are worthwhile

For pixelart renders I just use the blender compositor scale nodes to scale the render up and then down using nearest neighbour. And there's some other setting hidden in a menu somewhere which turns antialiasing off. There are better compositor setups but that one is simple and works well enough.

I do a separate render for the snow with the rest of the house sent to black, then in the compositor channel the black into the alpha output so I can have a separate snow sprite to layer on top of the house, the house is rgb split with each channel being recolored via a shader in engine so the snow needs to be separate anyway. I touched up the snow with the jiggle brush in aseprite to break up the lines.
