My WoW guild has a guy that hosts a private league every league, and I've joined him since Settlers in it. More or less just a guild found grouping, it's been fun and people help each other. I have always run way off meta things just for fun, and this weekend I decided that I would run Volatile Dead Assassin, get the Sanctum ascendancy and make it a poison build. Required 2x consuming darks, and before doing Lycia the anything can poison ascendancy. I'm not good at Sanctum so it would be a learning experience. What did I learn? That my build was ass, and the amount of investment needed to make it less then not ass isn't worth it, and that I pissed away my whole weekend. Was fun to try something I made myself but was a reminder that I am in fact not a build maker for good reasons.

i think that fortress nerfs wont change anything. the entire area needs a redesign to give players easier time to kill mobs at chokepoints before they swarm mid from all sides. if you simply go to the bottom part of the area to wipe incoming herd then the top side is already raping ailith even if you instantly killed everything and immediately went back to defend top side.

This league has taught me an important lesson that I should've learned years ago and that is that it's never been about the gear, I'm just horribly out of my depth and suck at this. I'm over here struggling to hit 1m dps and 4k life, meanwhile streamer man over here is already at 5k life and 10k es with 7m dps on his league starter with a tree that's like 75% travel nodes and I just can't even fathom how this is possible no matter how much I try and crunch the numbers. I'm too dumb for this and I should've given up on making my own builds years ago.

>>545144625On the left and lower left portion of the tree are nodes for settlers of kalguur.One of the keystones converts sulphite (from niko) you collect into crops for boat shipments from kingsmarch.You combine this with actual delve nodes to grant you buffs when you collect sulphite, and shrines to make you clear the map faster and add magic mobs (which synergize with clicking bismuth from settlers).You do this in addition to allocating destructive play and the various nodes at the top of the tree that grant an increased chance to drop guardian, conqueror, and synthesis maps from map bosses.You then run only t16 silo map with maven witnessing, and run through clicking shrines and sulphite and some of the faster settlers nodes like bismuth.When you reach the boss, kill the additional bosses maven spawns, force rektar the breaker the native boss of silo to phase, then port out and start a new map.Do not kill rektar as this will witness the map and remove maven influence, forcing you to play 9 other different maps to complete the invitation and regain access to witnessed silo.I do this every league start but I combine it with betrayal because it works well with speed mapping.
