This may be one of the few games where solos is more fun than squads. Obviously pvp is fun, but the Arc + slow healing and ease of third partying makes squads makes it kind of annoying. And you don't get the kino care bear vs KOSchad dynamic either, since everybody just plays it like a death match

Best way to kill Leaper without either Wolfpack or Blazing is here on Dam under the Baron. Just bring a Ferro with 80 heavy ammo if you're poverty tier.Crouch under the Baron leg and start shooting at the guaranteed Leaper spawn. Leaper won't be able to reach you so it just continuously reposition itself exposing its core. When it does leap and charge-up attack just hide under the leg and you won't be hurt by the blast. Barely anyone comes here because it's far from the quest objectives and high loot areas.

The fact that getting caught looting, or accidentally bursting into a room with a readied player, is so lethal in this game is ultimately a great thing. It means the skill expression in the game relies heavily on proper scouting and being cautious about everything you do. It also heavily punishes people that want to speedrun through maps, hit a juicy loot spot, and GTFO all in 5 minutes. Those kinds of players are ass for the health of an extraction game, so it's good they're punished heavily for treating the game like a BR.

Arc needs to be considerably stronger. Like, they need to double the amount of drones and pops/fireballs, considerably buff Leapers and make Bastions less cheesable. It hasn't even been a week and the playerbase is already becoming increasingly aware that Arcs are a joke and extremely easy to cheese. Without the Arc threat, there's no real reason to not just PvP constantly

I only play solo and I'm just a peaceful carebear doing PVE. But I love when someone shoots me and tries to engage - cause I can actually aim and gun down someone in a pure gunfight. Sadly, there are quite a few aimlets that set traps or camp extract looking for easy kills.

the 280 stash slots (or really, the stack sizes) has me conflicted. i'm hesitant to keep playing because of it. a big part of games like this, is to STACK PAPER and comfily sustain a decent loadout. im going to have to spreadsheet (OR SOMETHING) the materials required for a loadout and redistribute a big chunk of my slots if i want to do thatand then there's still misc keys and grappling hooks and things digging into thati have the points to finish most of my deck but i cant claim any of the gear boxes or i'd have to sell stacks of good crafting matsanyway, shit's gay
