The only real incentive to play Honour is the Golden Dice you get as a reward. Otherwise you can just select Custom Game, replicate Honour settings (I'm not sure 100% sure if the ruleset can be picked but everything else surely) then leave out that one or two adjustments you dislike. Though the one save restriction can be bypassed with some fiddling the main issue is bugs and unforeseen incidents. Because the odds is that you will encounter them, especially if that's your first playthrough. One misclick can end your Honour save with 120 hour playtime just like that. So just switch to Tactician and enjoy the magical first ride without worrying about a damn thing. Honour can wait once you're familiar with the game.
