I like girls and I like well written girls too but I think twst wouldn't work as well as it does if the characters were girls somehow. That is the only thing she does the whole time, and we've seen in the novel that Leona's ob can be won without a yuu, and Ruggie controlling a blind Jack in wolf form to tear out a phantom's throat is so much cooler and has so much more significance than Leona being taken out by a rando, like Jade taking out Azul in book 3.She is the most unnecessary, lifts right out of the narrative with no impact on the story at all. They kind of all do, but she doesn't have enough personality to compensate and justify keeping her around anyway.Book 2 is cursed.
