Honestly pretty sure a 2.5D rpg maker game like about being a young witch learning basic witchcraft shit and learning shit from wicca, like learning herbal cures, and doing magic using basic magic symbology, plus learning to cast spells and protect from demons would be popular among zoomettes today.
Well?
>>546750828it's... i guess you could technically... kind of call it i the roguelite.. genre....when i say i dont know "how" to make it i mean, i dont know how i want it to "be", not that i dont know how to literally make it

They hear vaccine and think "Polio". They can't be reasoned with and they can't contribute creatively to anything. But they swarm every large company and destroy it in the end.
>>546757456you can talk all day how you winned bigly but at the end of the dayI have a game and you don't
>>546757529why are you using glm?
>>546750875I actually grind my own flour from wheat I buy.And yes I have chickens.eggs prices are actually cheap as fuck where I'm from but I really like animals and it's so much fun to raise chickens and learn about them.I'm actually in the process of clearing a few trees so that I can make a mushroom grow patch, and have more space to grow flowers so I can eventually support bees. But I'm not an engine dev, I feel like this analogy is bad cause I actually have a garden and it's very easy to get way too much food in one season, and chickens literally just shit out eggs. That guy is going to have so much flour and eggs he might be eating cake for the rest of his life. But knowing how to grow wheat and raise chickens doesn't have anything to do with knowing how to make a cake. But making an engine does have a connection to making games. I think the better analogy would me like the guy making his own batter and recipe versus like a guy buying just add water box batter and like some basic stuff like cheap frosting and sprinkles. The skilled baker or cake artist will take years to really become excellent.
>>546757592>>546757281i've thought of using glm too, is it any good?
>>546757592because i was on anthropic's max plan and they started heavily limiting opus which is the reason why i even paid that much for it, so i switched to planning/analyzing with codex/gpt5/o3 and implementing with glm + edits by hand, it gives me the same level of perf but i can actually code all day. fuck anthropic, claude is great but they're the adobe of AI, im making a voxel engine from scratch btw so sonnet alone doesnt cut it

>>546759568That makes sense. Capturing smooth footage for a first-person game can be tricky, especially with mouse erraticism. Using some kind of super smoothing or stabilization for the mouse input during recording could definitely help make the trailer look more polished. I have grown weary of modernity. I pine for the days of my youth, filled with binging anime and awkward cybersex between virgins. Thus, I have decided to make an El-Hazard themed MUD/MUSH/MOO. I'm leaning toward MUSH. There was a tabletop RPG that I might track down and see if anything in there stands out as a fun mechanic. I regret not buying it when I saw it in the game shop as a teenager but I had no friends to play with at the time and no idea how soulless future media would become. My only must have is a desktop client with a cool icon, everything else is negotiable.

Keep your rotisserie waste, I like to keep a bunch of it in the freeze and make a huge amount of chicken stock, it adds flavor and nutrients into your rice and beans. Milk is a stable, get milk, full fat otherwise you're losing money. Also I often just get juice instead of fruit. By volume it's often cheaper. I don't buy bullshit like multivitamins, I'm pretty sure that shit is an expensive scam. I just have frozen organ meats that I will throw into my stock pot. You're just going to need to break the bank on a dev machine though. I had to take the hit and buy a new laptop after mine broke down. But I waited for a sale so I didn't die.Besides that you can make a good game 100% for free. Also do not survive on ramen you will literally fucking die. It's not enough nutrients. Instant ramen is a shitty noodle, you can literally just make your own noodles at home. Noodles are literally among the easiest things to make, even making bread is harder.Rent is so fucking expensive though. I can't really help you there, I haven't solved it yet. Just because a game has a low number of reviews doesn’t mean the game didn’t sell tons of copies, and games with high review counts can have very few actual sold copies, especially with refunds.Agdg’s worship of review count is one of the single biggest signs that most of agdg is too low IQ to make games. I've seen so many under price themselves. $5k is way too low for even a year of development and porting to the Switch. Even if development would take 3 months thats still too low of an ask. 1 year development is a bare minimum of $100k when all costs are taken into account>kickstarter fee>taxes>your own salary>costs for the game excluding your salary>all that time and effort simply setting up the kickstarterMore if you fall for the trap of giving physical rewards just for minor increases in tiers>pay $15 more get a physical copyUnlikely to make a profit and instead reduce total profit. Or how about>$500 and we work with you to put something in game

Dude, what if each of the 256 cards is made up of 16 families based on the Major Arcana of the Tarot? Each family has 16 cards, which are a Yin and Yang version of the 8 planets in astrology. And you have to use the numerological value of a date to place them on a 2D board made of 12 zodiac signs × 8 moon phases. In the end, each card has another card it’s supposed to hunt, and each one also has an element it’s weak against and another it’s strong against, like rock–paper–scissors. These cards move across the board, and when they cross paths, it means there’s a conflict on that date, and one of the two cards gets eliminated. In the end, only one card remains on the board.

Basically WiiU chat, the client sends all their text in a 1-bit png file. >>546805338Yeah, close to what I’m thinking. Server is just running Python for now until I rewrite it. >>546805365>You have to remember you’re asking an entity with no prior knowledge of your project on each new prompt.no, that depends on the context length of the model or how gimped they make the context length in whatever website/UI you are using that is making profits as a middleman, the actual company website, like aistudio for google, claude, won't just lie to you about context and will stop you from messaging them, claude context varies on use, googles gemini here https://aistudio.google.com/will just let you use the top model from them free if you have a google account, 1 mill context, set thinking to max and code exectuion on, url/search on

>>546805625I’ll be honest, i don’t want to deal with any server side text filtering because I’m using C. It’s safer if all user input text is just handled as image data.
>>546805842>It’s safer if all user input text is just handled as image data.
>>546805626Yeah, exactly. I haven’t even tweaked the default settings on Copilot yet, or set up it up with any documentation. The AI works as well as your development environment is set up.
Surrender anon, there's no competing with this.

>>546805973It is, I won’t have to deal with escape characters, string exploits, or buffer overflows, I can use OCR to for word filters. There are ways to use C safely if you know where it’s weak. I’ve been writing embedded C since the early 2000s professionally.

>>546806010>development environmentthat or just keep a few boilerplate prompts depending on whatever project you have in mind, and want, also make a python file with this script pasted inside it (.py)https://pastebin.com/AZtaXiu7then place that .py file in the top folder level of your project and it will go through and find any legible text (leaving out anything not plain text such as weird . extensions and images)then just slam all that into gemini/claude after your boilerplate text and the task you want it to do

>>546806184Won’t even have to use OCR, bit match individual letters. I won’t even match the texture data to ASCII, just write my own map. Like a onetime pad that lives on the server.

I just had a sudden crash of 100 trukes on top of my head:What the fuck do boomers even think about all day? What do tiktok brain rotters think about all day?I doubt many of them are doing anything very productive, or even interesting. Boomers and brain rotten zoomers are spiritually the same, in the world of symbols they are the last man who don't think.I realize this suddenly, and it broke me.When you do ice breakers they ask what do you do for fun or what's interesting about you. People will say they have a cat and like to ski. WTF??? You can only ski one season of the year. This is why fundamentally people like us suffer most, because we're electing to be more conscious, more human, and thus suffer greater. My game will never GMI for this reason, because I assumed that the people playing my game were at the bare minimum human.I mean I'm and adult now with a jobby and yeah I play less games, but I still enjoy them and they have inspired me deeply like great authors. But yet how come the my mom's expose to video games was because she watched a video game tv show without knowing it was even based on a game (that made her unhappy and she told me she wish I didn't tell her that). It doesn't make any fucking sense. Why doesn't she now want to play those games? I own every fall out game, she could play them right now.I try asking her and it's like talking to a wall. "That's just not for me anon"THEN WHAT IS???Do nongamers literally have less spiritual autonomy? Are they all p-zombies?Did playing video games turn me into an ubermensch? And is being a game developer turning me into something even greater?I don't know what to do with the knowledge that everyone I love is a subhuman in comparison to me, because the gamer race is the most superior race, but the game dev race is even more superior. In terms of the symbols and hierarchy of spirits, my family are equivalent to my dog.Am I missing something? in their world am I the dog? But if I am then why?

Truke: the world never had autonomy except for nepobabies, videogames gave serfs and peasants a means of autonomy outside of the born roles. The closest thing before was appreciation of art and literature, but video games unlocks autonomy within space, time, philosophy, religion, etc.The only person more free was the artist, but art was locked behind nepotism for the past 2 thousand years, until now where you can install free software to create your own games.

>>546800750That might as well be correlation rather then causation. Less conservative and younger people hate AI, and older people don’t view it as something that bad. From personal experience anyone above 40 is completely indifferent to all AI until it starts affecting them, millennials are 50/50 on being slightly pro and slightly against it, and zoomers are all against it except the few crypto bros that are trying to figure out their hare-brained ways of profiting from it. Those are at least the opinions of first world whites.
