Pretty much every quest out in the world will be soloable though, group quests aren't that common and even then some classes are able to solo them anyway if you play real well.All that does depend on the server you play on to some extent, though. The game evolved over the years and different servers capture different flavours of it.Turtle is a good window of how the game was when it initially came out, crappy client and all. Epoch adds some excellent new content to the original game's world to fill the gaps while levelling plus some improvements from later clients, and most of it is integrated so well it feels like it could have actually been in the base game. Tauri's MoP and Legion servers provide a good glimpse of how the game was after the overhaul in Cataclysm and later, which generally aimed for a more streamlined experience. I wouldn't necessarily recommend starting with either of them, but they are good expacks for their own reasons and worth trying to see the contrast.

Warlock also works well for similar reasons. If you don't want a pet, try mage. Some elite quests will still be soloable with your frost spells to keep them cc'd, but you'll be more limited than you would on a hunter.
