Since 2015, the entire revival era was already extremely inbred, without Toriyama, it could only ever get worse. If I was a suit, I'd be very hesitant of greenloghting new stories without Toriyama's blessing, even a lot of anime (or game) original scenarios over the decades had some Toriyama input like designs, for a lot of people, anything new just won't count. That's why I believe in the remake, whether you like it or not, it's the path of least resistance.

321Y is just a standard fanfiction set 321 years after the main DB story if I recall. It wasn't that great, but I found it more interesting than the other stuff they have.
Saigo no Son is an ongoing one by the same artist, and it's just "Goku and Piccolo get killed by Raditz, and he kidnaps Gohan", and its main story (currently) is the Saiyans coming back to Earth with Gohan a few years later.
Seems like that arc (or maybe even the whole story) is about to end soon, so it might get more interesting, but currently there isn't a whole lot going on with Gohan himself.

Blancoverse was really, really good. Easily the best dragonball comic on the whole site. It was intentionally pretty stupid and piss takey but also really fun to read. Finished up 321Y. I was pretty skeptical of it due to it being by the same author as the namekian one, but the more I read the more I became endeared to the little gang. It's a cute little dragonball hunt with a bunch of older characters sprinkled in. Goku being the final ball obstacle to judge the worthiness of the person's wish is really cute, though. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would overall. It's also fun to see stuff like pic related after the constant stuffiness of mainline DBM

Nice combo. I'm gonna guess the reason it only works in PQs is because the netcode is screwing you over with the Savage Strike teleport. It's unintuitive, but in PVP you might have to delay doing the teleport a little bit to get it to work, to give your opponent's game enough time to know they're getting knocked away. While he was alive, it was Toriyama him who was consulted for movies, Daima, even games sometimes, he never really oursourced it nor did he consistently took anyone else onboard (other than Iyoku, but he was more of a right-hand man than a deaignated successor). Toyotaro was just an emplyee in one franchise's division, it's just that as a DB mangaka he literally succeeded Toriyama in that role. I think his biggest contribution to the franchise as a whole was a bunch of minor chara designs for ToP.

I feel like GS scoring system overvalues killing enemy heroes. I had too many matches where me and my lane partner went around killing bosses which snowballed into triple boss KO and victory, but MVP went to someone from the other team because he ramped up a lot of enemy kills even though nothing really came out of it (at best they did finish the job with one of the GoDs after we took out the boss).

Frieza's ult is so fucking underrated. And I mean the debuff effect. It's a 45% attack down debuff field that lasts FIFTEEN seconds. For fifteen seconds the entire enemy team's damage output is cut in almost half. Even if you somehow manage to hit nobody with it this thing singlehandedly decides teamfights around towers in the lategame.

if your Xenoverse 3 CaC could learn any three Saiyan forms, bearing in mind that the multipliers would be equivalent to Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, and Super Saiyan 3 no matter what, which three forms would you choose? Super Saiyan 3 doesn't strain your character's power consumption in this scenario.

i'd probably start with Super Saiyan, then Rose or Blue for my second form, and my last form would be original Super Saiyan 4 with the Vegeta colors or Ultra Instinct -Sign-.

Speaking of super saiyan 3, the way it works in the kid buu fight contradicts what he said to piccolo when they were talking on the lookout. He specifically says that he can only really use super saiyan 3 in the otherworld, as it is a dimension where time doesn't flow, nothing to do with him being alive or dead it's on the dimension itself . As brought up the other day there's a lot of weird shit about this conversation between goku and piccolo that's completely contradicted later

I love super saiyan 4 a lot but thematically it takes a very specific kind of saiyan to have it fit and I've never really had a CaC that I can make the saiyan autism work while still sticking with the time patrol theme. God forms works a lot better since you're working for god and stuff after all
