You'll be able to get away with playing belveth in a lane against bots and the few other new players there are in league but once you start facing people who aren't completely green it'll stop working. The "pushing for enemy base with a horde of units" doesn't really happen all that often in practice. It's a small percentage of how this character actually plays, though when it does happen it will look the closest to what I know zerg rush looks like since it spawns a LOT of small but individually near meaningless units.Malzahar is a squishy ranged character with fairly low damage in exchange for his very reliable ability to lock enemy down with his ultimate. The units he spawns are pretty negligible to his gameplay, they die to a sneeze and rarely actually reach the enemies to hit them. Main thing they do in practice is eat up a skillshot ability aimed at you sometimes. His go to lane is middle, where ability to push turrets towards enemy base is the worst since you can be ambushed from any direction while doing so. Malzahar gameplay past early stages is to stick with teammates and lock down important enemies so you can kill them with your teammates (or use the threat of doing that to prevent them from even approaching). You'll probably find him dissatisfying to play.Yorick fits what you want to do the best by far, playing away from teamfights and instead going towards enemy base with his units is the VAST MAJORITY of what he does. He doesn't spawn as many units as belveth but he does it all the time, and they're more meaninful. When left unattended (or if he beats whoever went to stop him) once he will start knocking on the doors of enemy base (figuratively). The second time he'll end the game unless enemies drop everything they're doing to stop him, which should (in theory) make his teammates succeed even if yorick himself doesn't end the game.
