All those Aether players who used to mock Balmung are now on Balmung getting their knees scraped on the floor of the Quicksands. It's so bad. I don't go to Ul'dah anymore. And once you leave ul'dah, you realize how dead balmung really is. The overworld? Nobody in it. No new characters allowed, so no sprouts doing MSQ in the overworld. Just emptiness. Outposts? Dead. Limsa? Medium activity. Gridania? Light activity. That's about it. I went to Dynamis the other day and just sat in the shroud and watched people run by, on their way to kill something or speak to someone or collect some shit. One guy even sat with me for a minute. I made him a hat. He was happy about that. You don't get anything like that in balmung anymore. Also the housing situation sucks; you will never own a home. And the market is fucking cooked. Everything is more expensive here. You'll world travel to buy shit all the time. And when the devs decide you're congested, then none of your friends will be able to visit you.It's fucked. do not come here.
